Came across a few blocks of Italian Colonies in Africa with some eye appeal: An Italian Somalia 20c on 2-anna block of 4: and a Libya block of 9 with a bit of margin added for some visual interest: and just for fun, 8 revenues:

I would have thought that printing was on the Inter-panneau gutter , perhaps the two panes were guillotined, otherwise the two rows of perforations are odd. Nice collection. I have stacks of Italian Revenues, alas, the Catalogues are too expensive.

The goofy margin was a large part of the reason why I picked up that block.
I bought the Italian Somalia because I came back into the room as the auctioneer hit that lot, and I panicked and thought it might be the Libya block of 9. I bid before I got my auction catalogue squared away, and then realized I was still a few lots away from the one I meant to have.
Still, in all, nice to have. And I won the Libya a few lots later, so all's well that ends well.

The auction seems to be slow as grass growing, your lot is 40 away, you sneak outside for a can of soda, next thing you know, people are bidding on your lot, or you've missed it. I've missed lots online, waiting to bid in the last minute, to find I am not logged on. Erk. PS. Odd icons around the value tablets of the 2 anna. I am guessing allegories of the Italian Savoy Cross, shown on the COA.

Never noticed them, and they aren't un-prominent.
