Having spent the Nowember in Mauritius,I could buy some new issues at the G.P.O. in Port Louis. Interesting is the stamp-issue for the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mauritius and the P.R. of Cnina:
In addition to the stamp, there is also a souvenir sheet, mounted in a folder:
folder,front-side
folder,back-side
folder,inner left page
souvenir sheet,(was) mounted on the inner right page.
The s.s. measures 181 x 121 mm,the folder 230 x 160 mm. The folder/s.s. was printed and provided by China free of charge to Mauritius Post.

With apologies for reviving the 3-year-old part of this thread discussing B65 postmarks, they are indeed rare. I have three different examples from the "Lionheart" collection, and recently sent them to the RPS of London for certification. I asked how many previous examples of B65 were in their archives, which go back over 100 years. The answer was " We can find two in our records – one good and one bad".

This has intrigued me, since I first began to collect stamps. Any members know what the two Boxed Indicia strikes, read, on this unique 1847 (Post Office) cover ? Dashed if I can find any information on them.
Thanks

I was aware of that research on the colour of the jerseys and the higher win rate. It recognises some 'aggressive' colours that make it likelier you win. Yesterday, I have been shouting my lungs inside out to animate 'my girls' to win both hockey matches and qualify for promotion play-offs. Both games were atrocious. But they did win both games and qualified for the play-offs for promotion to the highest league. the club jersey is BABY BLUE.

Reading the Wikipedia article, I recognise the inverted 'PENNY POST' boxed cancellation. But I see no reference to the cachet over the address. That reads “COLONIES & ART.13” as can be read here: Bordeaux Letter (Mauritius)

Can anyone explain (“COLONIES & ART.13”) please?

It is a transit mark. As it is pre-UPU, ot might refer to a mutual treaty between France and the UK. A little more background and example. Edit: I see you identified the treaty when I was typing this reply. Click on the numbers to see the French counterparts.
