Love the Chrysler Building, my favourite skyscraper.
City Hall park Postcard.
Postmark in the reverse, possibly a "kiss print" from the back of the Krag Roller canceller.
Ergo, that card is probably postmarked correctly on the reverse side

Amsterdam N.Y. original home to Mohawk carpet mills (et al) also Coleco toys who manufactured that swimming pool most had in backyard.The mills are mostly closed now and toy company gone.I worked on both building complexes back in my roofing days.City is located on Mohawk river and rises rather steeply as you get way from it.

Hotel Piccadilly Main Restaurant, New York City I recall a Television show called "Fake or Fortune" where experts were trying to establish the provenance of a painting attributed to a certain famous painter, If I recall they were values in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. A painting of a venue, such as your postcard, establish the painting (an oval) did indeed hang in a certain restaurant during the 1920's. After months of deliberation by a committee in Europe, gave a ruling "most probably" painted by the artist. Changing a value of tens of pounds to a vast amount. |

Doubledeck elevated trains, the Bowery. I LOVE this one. So much to see! Yesterday, I knocked a hole through a rear wall here, and installed a window. I was considering, and reading up on "Quoining" the grey featured corner stonework in the red building on the left, in your postcard. This style has come down from Ancient Rome. I decided it may be overkill, so went for timber architraves instead, Eucalyptus Marginata ( Aboriginal : Jarrah ) Beautiful rich red lumber.
