Found this sad little stamp while sorting through a lot. Any ideas? Reminds me of the late 19th century stamps of Germany, but this one doesn't seem postal. Verkehrs Anstalt translates (on Google Translate) as 'Traffic Institute' Some sort of local revenue or work permit stamp? edit- another search turns this up: Transport Agency is an institution, its intended purpose to the transportation of persons or property is directed; it can be a public law or a private law institution s (eg a tram, a bus company). The Civil Code uses the term V in § 978 ( surplus-appropriation of Fund item, fund).
