Arguably the most famous sword of all.... Excaliber! Here are two stamps from the GB Arthurian Legends series issued on 03/09/1985 (sg:1294-5) Each on their own FDC with a silk cache. They are part of a set of 4 (sg:1294-7) issued to mark the 500th anniversary of the printing of Sir Thomas Malory's Morte d'Arthur.

A couple of swords/knives of interest: A lot of early Aden stamps have the Arab dagger on them somewhere, like this Scott #1 from 1937: Australian stamp showing an army officer with ceremonial sword, Scott #945b from 1985:

This is an interesting topical theme. On another forum I had started a Fencing on Stamps thread that in some ways could be a subset of this topic. In high school, my oldest son was a fencer and had won some competitions.

A Whole bunch of swords in this set... I counted 10 and a half... but it was an arrow in the eye that everyone remembers! Great Britain, strip of six 4d stamps (sg:705-710) issued 14/10/1966 to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, depicting scenes from the Bayeaux tapestry.

This is an interesting topical theme. On another forum I had started a Fencing on Stamps thread that in some ways could be a subset of this topic. In high school, my oldest son was a fencer and had won some competitions. You should really make a stamp of your oldest son in his prime fencing time and post it it would be really nice memory to share that in this forum adds heart to it if you are able to if it’s a good idea i don’t know lol well ya nice on the wins son of darkormex.

This rouletted Bundi 5r Vermilion & Pale Green (Cliché D) is the highest denomination stamp from the 1915-41 "Sacred Cows" issue. The design depicts the ruler Raghubir Singhji between two sacred cows, his sword drawn to protect them from a Moghul Emperor of Northern India.
And here is the rouletted Bundi 4r Pale Green & Red Brown. Like my 5r example above, this stamp was issued towards the end of the 1915-1941 issue period and is cliché C, identified by the prominent white dot at the top right corner of the value tablet.
I won't show the rest, the design is the same on them all 🤣

Guatemala 1902 1c National Symbols - The Quetzal represents freedom and independence of the nation. - The laurel wreath represents victory. - The parchment at the center reads "Liberty 15 of September of 1821", the date Guatemala gained independence from Spain. - The crossed Remington rifles of the type used during the 1871 Liberal Revolution, represent the will to defend Guatemala's interests. - The crossed swords represent justice and honor. 1919 12½c Timbre de Reconstruccion Postal Tax
The same national symbols as used in the stamp above are repeated here on a Postal Tax stamp used to show payment of a compulsory tax on mailing letters and parcels. This tax went to rebuilding post offices (timbre de reconstruccion).
