I came across a limited edition presentation book with both the s/s and silver coin
These are just images I grabbed off eBay, I have looked to see if the actual book is listed for sale but no luck. The book says a limited edition of 5,500.
Was this an item that sold quickly to collectors and kept in collections. I don't collect them so was wondering if we have any collectors that would have any info on them.
I see the coin has prices of $50 - $100 plus on auction sites. It does have a face value of $15.
Thanks.

Admin, with a Australian focus, this type of article could have been....... a) part of a year book production, (5,500 would suggest not here) b) specialty sales offer at the back of the monthly bulletin , these items rarely have postal use stamps though. The $1.60 souvenir sheet Sc#2258 has a value of $3.25 in 2009

The book is a set of 12 celebrating the lunar calendar. Its a joint issue from the mint and Canada post.
Some of the years had more souvenir books the year of the pig had 6,000.
Well its something I don't collect and placed it on eBay its listed in both stamp and coin. We will see what happens, I did place a $50 us starting bid.
