How good of TSF to have a board to introduce members websites! I'd like to introduce my site: StampWorldHistory. StampWorldHistory - launched June 1, 2015 - provides information on the historical context of stamps issued worldwide. As such it is primarily aimed at the worldwide collector. The site contains country profiles with the political and postal history of countries described. It contains custom made maps illustrating the political and postal history of these countries. And it contains country diagrams: flow charts showing the political developments most often of groups of countries. And more.... The site is a work in progress. The site currently contains a complete set of country profiles for Africa and Asia. Thus for Africa close to a 160 country profiles are provided from Afars & Issas to Zululand, describing close to 400 political and private stamp issuing entities. For Asia over 80 profiles are provided from Abu Dhabi to Yemen, including just over 600 stamp issuing entities. After a short detour to Antarctica I now have started to work on the Americas. Please check it out and let me know what you think of it!

Gerben has done an unbelievable job of putting together synthesis maps full of information. And the history is very well researched. I've said it before, and I will say it again- for WW collectors, Gerben's site is the most significant advance in the last several years.

SWH, that is a magnificent site. Apart from the philatelic information, the diagrams and maps are great at helping explain the political changes in various parts of the world.

Another fan of Gerben's site here. Warning: do not access the site unless you are ready to spend a substantial amount of time exploring it! Truly an expansive and well researched work (and growing).

Excellent SWH! What a wonderful site you have created and an amazing resource for the worldwide collector. I'm looking forward to reading each of your country sections as I work with my collection.
