The early airmail stamps of Hungary are quite colorful and have intricate designs. And, of course, for the Zeppelin enthusiasts, there are the 1918 overprints. The early air semi-post souvenir sheets are also colorful and well-designed.

Very lovely pages, barhata. I particularly like the 1924 Icarus issue. I was wondering who the designer was and found this additional information about the issue on the Society for Hungarian Philately website.

Thank you very, very much Jen for that reference. I will hope to find much information about Hungary airmails there.
Then, I'll spend the next couple of months re-designing my Hungary airmail pages to incorporate the new info.
The fun never ends

Here is a larger image of the Hungary 5 pengo shown above: That is a wonderful stamp design, not seen it before, must look up whom designed it. One E. Haranghy (well done Sir) I think the design of "The Spirit of Flight" even tops that design, the figure on the Aircraft designed by one, F Marton. All sadly missing from my 3 album collection, but here on TSF.
