Looks like we don't have a South American thread so I'll start one. South and Central America are one of my favorite general areas and where I have been spending a lot of time on in the last couple years. My South America is pretty respectable but Central America is proving a bit harder getting material. Anyways here is one of my favorite pages from anywhere. I'm a sucker for bi-color engraved stamps. There is a "Latin America" thread. Under South and Central America there are sub-forums, one for each country. Have ADMIN add Chile and move your thread there.

That is a great set, indeed. I run across the horizontal formats, but I don't often run into the vertical-format issues. Sure makes for a nice page.

If you like bi-color engraved, then the Portuguese independence issues are awesome!! So are some of the early Ecuador and Costa Rica ones as well I think.
