2007 . No. 1163. 200 years of the establishment of the insignia of the Military Order of St. George the Victorious. The first rules for the insignia of the Military Order of St. George the Victorious stated: "It is acquired only on the battlefield, during the defense of fortresses and in naval battles. They are awarded only to those of the lower military ranks who, serving in the Russian land and naval forces, will really show their excellent bravery in the fight against the enemy." The first recipient of the insignia of the military Order was non-commissioned officer of the Cavalry Regiment Egor Ivanovich Mityukhin for the battle of Friedland on June 2, 1807. On the margins of the block are depicted: the ribbon of the Order of the Holy Great Martyr and Victorious George, St. George the Victorious, trampling the serpent, and a soldier of the Patriotic War of 1812. Pyatigorsk - Svetlograd

Bridal Veil, Oregon is in the scenic Columbia River Gorge and has a small post office off by itself in the middle of nowhere. As you can imagine, it is popular to get wedding invitations postmarked there. Here is a cover postmarked from Bridal Veil on 8 February 2021. Along with a crappy Portland spray cancel for the next day. us.bridal.veil.or-2021.02.08 by Mick Taylor, on Flickr

It's a sober morning/mourning over here, and this fits only too well. I suppose it was meant to be positive when issued in '45; re-building with an element of toujours se rappeler. But we didn't, not really. Now I look at your stamp and mostly see Mariupol. No rebuilding there.
