What I collect: Germany in all its facets since 1871 (especially German Reich used including postal statinoneries, used), USSR, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Denmark, France. I design all album pages for my collection myself and partly make them available to the general public for use.

 A letter dated February 18, 1872, posted and postmarked in Stenschewo. This town is now called Stęszew and is located in Poland near Poznań (then Posen), where the letter was addressed. At the time when this letter was sent, this region belonged to Prussia and thus to the German Empire. The stamp used was the embossed imperial eagle with small breast shield, 4 times 1/4 groschen (Michel No. 1 of the German Empire). |

February 18 US Scotts 3618 (23c Washington) and 3966 (First Class Flag) postmarked February 18 in Houston, TX. The year is not included in the cancel but was sometime between 2005 and 2011.  |

February 21, 1995 Another example of postal equipment being rough with stamps. US Scotts 973 (3c Rough Riders) and 2523 (29c Flag over Mount Rushmore)) postmarked February 21, 1995 (part of which is on the back of Scott 973) in Oakland, CA.  With the stamp folded back to flat.  |
