Mi 327 Sept 17 1938 Philatelic Ex. & Silver Jubilee of airpost service in Switzerland Held in Aarau only sold from Sept.17-25 Recess & Typo. print on Granite paper 2 regular postage & 1 airmail Perf 11.5 1913 Pioneer Stamp - my only example Flight from Sion to Sierre Pilot Oskar Bider, 4000 printed & 1200 sold Pioneer Stamps were semi-official airmails approved by the government and to be used in conjunction with regular postage. The proceeds were to help the development of aviation In total about 12 different ones were issued in 1913 These are difficult to find and most are expensive They have quite a history... the last one prepared in Aug 31 1913 was never used as the pilot was killed in a test flight.

I'm going through the 1923 to 1933/37 airmail stamps. Is there any way of diferentiate used stamps that used to have grilled gum, other than to have them on cover or with full pm? Thank you very much.

According to Michel stamps with grilled gum were printed on surface-coated (chalked) paper, while the others were printed on ordinary paper. If you can spot that difference, you should know what are what. The 1932 series was printed on coated paper only.So they can be used as reference.
