Great series of stamps! The steering wheel spinner knob (1900 Opel & De Dion-Bouton) made a comeback in the 1950s, perhaps better known as a suicide knob by the cool kids with their hot rods. But the backward-facing seat for extra passengers who would block the driver's view, that sort of fell out of favour .... Ryan Hehe Not even close to finish, there are 96 stamps in the series, I have 3 pages to go I didn't want to overload the Forum. I owned a 1936 Dodge in my 20's Driving was such fun in those days. Agree, A great series for the Automobile afficianado. My next page will feature a French Vermorel. Here is the Maharaja of Barwani, in what looks to me like a Vermorel

Originally consisted of six Sheikhdoms on the southern coast of the Persian Gulf. Other Trucial states : Abu Dhabi,Ajman,Dubai,Ras El Khayma, Sharjah .. There is already a thread for Umm Al-Quwain Thread(Link),you can find it under the subboard Trucial States link (Middle East) . Umm al-Qiwain embossed silver-colored foil coin stamps (Mi. 49-54) issued on December 15, 1965, for the 1965 Monetary Conference of Countries in the Arabian Gulf.
