Here is the latest computer vended stamps. Seller states only available at three locations may become a sought after issue.Actually not a bad looking issue IMHO.I try to keep up with at least the more expensive stamps issued, having learned my lesson from the mammal perf varieties.I paid through the nose after missing them.

Canada Post Website
"Canada Post recently re-introduced the use of computer-vended stamp labels, after an unsuccessful and short-lived trial in 2012-13.
The first two locations were opened in 2015 in Richmond Hill, Ontario, and Edmonton, Alberta. Though stamps were available for purchase, they were sold through snack-like vending machines in the form of regular booklets and coil rolls with no custom-printed stamp labels.
On Oct. 31, 2016, Canada Post opened the next generation of concept store in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, that not only offers the same type of 24-hour service as the previous two locations, but also includes a print-on-demand stamp label unit."

What I collect: My focus is on Wild Mammals on maximum cards. Occasionally, I get or create maximum cards with other animals, or any other topic.

Nice. Also, why shouldn't you design your own personalized stamps (not necessarily computer-vended), in any of the 60+ countries that allow this option?

dorincard,There has been much discussion on creating your own postage/cinderellas.While I like personalized stamps for special occasion say family re-unions or wedding invites etc.,it does create a problem for the purist collector in that it makes for an inexhaustable amount of varieties of the same stamp.Creating your own cinderellas borders on fantasy issues which is something you either like or hate. Most collectors restrict themselves to issues printed by postal authorities.Boils down to the same old same old, what ever strikes your fancy. There is no right or wrong which is what makes the hobby an enjoyment for yourself.
