Just sold this group of mainland China stamps on eBay. One SC#85, issued 1950-51 and 35 SC#182, issued 1953 on a piece from a package mailed from Canton.
Managed to get $72 CDN, which is an eBay record for me. Buyer still hasn't paid, but just the same, I'm happy. Gotta find more of this stuff!

Where is the buyer based? I have sold a few china lots and they went back to thier homeland. If so I recommend you use a plain meter label from the post office.

Yes, this one is going home. The buyers mailing address is in Chinese characters, but I learned a few months ago that Google translate can actually interpret those. Who knew? What I did last time was print out the address in English AND Chinese. The lady at the post office seemed to appreciate that. I will also use tracking this time, something I don't normally bother with.

...on a piece from a package mailed from Canton. Congratulations on the sale. Maybe the package was mailed from Tianjin (Tientsin) to or transited through Canton? All but one of the postmarks is 2Feb1954 Tianjin. The single Canton postmark seems to be dated 6 days later -- maybe a receiving/transit postmark?

Oh, and to answer your question Jack, the buyer is in Beijing.
