I'm curious, has anyone ever seen this cachet for a JFK first day cover before? Just did a google image search and a search on eBay, and didn't find a single one. I don't collect first day covers, generally (this one will probably end up on eBay with the hundreds of others) and am not familiar with the various cachet makers. It's not a one off, definitely printed. Inside is a card with "This cover to replace on spoiled in...process of cancelation".

It's an interesting cachet, James, but I have never seen one like it before.

There are some 5,000 different JFK FDC's listed and probably a lot more unlisted. It seems most post offices had their own variety. There are serious collectors of this series so you should be able to sell it easily
