These are generally considered as "Locals" but might be more in the realm of Cinderellas The Format Printers between 1981 and 1987 produced the Leaders of the World Locomotives issues for the Bernera Islands. They are found as imperforates and contrived errors for collectors. Modern forgeries exist probably originating in Latvia. The difference in detail is obvious. Locomotives section of the "Leaders of the World" issue. There are over 800 different stamps in the issue.

The Red Cross Medal souvenir sheet and Purple Heart issues from 1982, produced by Philatelic Leasing, Ltd, a Clive Feigenbaum tax shelter corporation.
As per the website Local Posts of the World: •Bernera Islands, Scotland U.K. - There is an island called "Great Bernera" in the Western Isles of Scotland (with a population of about 300) that is reached by a short bridge from the Isle of Lewis. Plus a very small islet called "Little Bernera". The first labels were produced by the Laird of the islands - Le Compte Robin de la Lanne Mirrlees - in the 1960's or 1970's. The present day labels being offered are bogus, as the islands currently do not have or need a local post.

As a Scot and a serious stamp collector , these so called stamps make me curl up inside and cringe .
Sorry guys , they are just “jam pot labels” they don’t even deserve to be called “locals”, just sad Cinderellas.

I came across a ziplock bag full of these in my recent "floor sweepings" lot. ISO Sverige, Bernera Island, Calve Island, Staffa, Grunay, Eynhallow, etc. Is there a "catalog" or list available for these types of issues?
