Netherlands New Guinea is the only country I have almost reached the point of completion. I only need the Flood relief stamps (#B1-3 in Scott) and that's it. Granted, it is a relatively small collecting area with just about 100 stamps in 13 years, United Nations UNTEA stamps included. But nevertheless, it is nice to be able to say I have something almost complete. There are still some challenges though: I would like to have everything used, and these are pretty hard to find. Plenty of mint available, as well as CTO, but genuinely postally used is another story. I suppose it is because there weren't that many people around to mail letters. The indigenous people did not have much to write (for obvious reasons) and the number of Europeans and Indo-Europeans was relatively small, mostly civil servants. Another challenge is sthat the UNTEA overprints come in a number varieties. I have not yet bothered to study those and have been content with just having one of each.
Still, only 3 stamps to go!

My most complete collections are: Nova Scotia (missing one stamp), Prussia (missing 1 stamp), Danzig (still missing a few), Bavaria (missing about 6 stamps), DDR (only missing the expensive officials in mnh), West Berlin (missing the first 4 years mnh), 1981 Royal Wedding completed, QEII Coronation (I need to replace one stamp), QEII 25th Jubilee - I think is complete now, Queen Mum's 80th birthday - I believe is complete, Queen Mum 85th birthday (complete with exception of 2 proof s/s). Wow - never realised how many I've completed - just gotta get them all mounted! Lol

Nova Scotia is only 10 different stamps (a few more if you also count the various colour varieties). I think I have 1 or 2 and suppose you are missing one of the shilling stamps. Other than that: wow.

Yes I collect all the shades - the paper colours. You're right - I'm missing the 2nd 1 shilling stamp. I can't find it. It took me about 15 years to find one of the other stamps.
