Two French bridge stamp issues: on the top, the viaduc de Millau, the tallest in the world, with the pillars towering at 330 meters (1100 feet in imperial units, for the American heathens) and another showing a bridge in Bordeaux over the Garonne.  |

Arrived in the mail today, the Europa 2018 bridges issue from Spain. Interestingly, the outline of the bridge is actually cut out the stamp (the black on the picture is from the mount background), making the stamp have roughly the profile of a razor blade.  |

Portugal Sc#978 & #979, part of a 4 stamp set, although I don't have the two lower denomination stamps to show. They were issued Aug 6, 1966 to celebrate the opening of the Salazar Bridge over the Tejo River in the Lisbon area. Although it doesn't show well in the scan, the background is a slightly reflective silver color. The one with the legible postmark is Oct 5, 1966.   |
