Newly joined member Greg Balagian (@carabasbarabas ) has brought to my attention that he learned of our Forum in William F. Sharpe's column "Computers and Stamps" which appeared on page 16 of the June 4, 2018 issue of Linn's Stamp News.

Newly joined member Greg Balagian (@carabasbarabas ) has brought to my attention that he learned of our Forum in William F. Sharpe's column "Computers and Stamps" which appeared on page 16 of the June 4, 2018 issue of Linn's Stamp News. Many thanks to Greg (@carabasbarabas ) and Steve for pointing this out. I agree with Jad Bombadil that it is a very nice article and indeed, well deserved for the Forum. Particular recognition goes to Jack for starting TSF in the first place, but to the Moderators and Staff such as tomiseksj , Londonbus1 , @falshung , who have kept it going and have made it into the award-winning site that it is--well done to all of you!! Postscript: I find it a bit surprising that the 4th of June edition of Linn's Stamp News was already available on the 18th or 19th of May for Greg to read. That's really staying ahead on one's editorial calendar! Now that I have read the article on TSF, perhaps I will go "back to the future" and read some more....

Linn's posts the edition as soon as it has gone to printer since they use it to drive online views too. I just received the 25 May version in the mail this past week.

Many thanks to everyone for the nice posts.... it is my honor to represent the Forum in this way. As I had fun writing that article, it's nice to have the fun continue by seeing it on the APS site. I've written a couple more articles since then, and I will be interested to see how those fare when it comes to the voting. Aaron ( kasvik), special thanks for your post with image.... it brought a big smile to my face!

Thanks Chris Beryllium Guy , and well done you. Steve Admin , I just remembered you sent me a consent form I should have attended to . With surgery and separated from my scanner and office, it has dropped off my radar. Can you resend now I am more mobile again? Sorry. Alex

Congratulations BerylliumGuy (Chris), I was really pleased to see your article highlighted at the APS awards. You're a wonderful writer without a doubt. All of your articles that I've read have been exceptionally well written with compelling content. There's writing and then there's the kind of writing that draws you in and makes you want to read more. Your articles definitely make me want to keep reading. You have a comfortable style and a great command of language. Thank you for all that you share, the Forum is the lucky beneficiary.
