I threw this together recently to help me with one of the regular tasks when sorting GB, it is a very basic guide so won't be any help to the specialist philatelist... but I though it may be useful to the casual or less experiences collector (like myself) just getting into GB definitives.

GB QEII 4d wilding two phosphor bands, no watermark with smudged ink printing flaw. The queens head is shown for the middle stamp (looks like a scar), right hand stamp (marks by the nose) and left hand stamp. Graham

Hi
I collect Queen stamps and one of my favourite stamps is the Dorothy Wilding first definitives. Does any one who collect Dorothy Wilding stamps have any stamps signed by her. If they do I would love to see them.

Nice! I've collected Machins for many years and have within the past month or so started identifying this series. This might help a lot.

Imagine 2 years down the road, I am doing inventory of these simple stamps but forget the watermarks - not that easy so I will start all over again for the 3rd time - Thanks for this nice "tool".....copied 2 years ago, never used until now but ........ I am not sure I like (+++) the Wildings - I like the ones from the UK, the others......René

The wildings are making me "crazy" so I put them aside - impossible with lighter fuel or Watermark fluid.......I know there is technology out there but I will not spend just for the wildings Many other stamps to play with René
