So I have a friend currently in England, who was game to hit a post office and get me some stamps. However, the ones I requested were not available. I suppose I should have told her that I'll take anything they have, since I collect them all, but she was following my request. So she texted me that she struck out, unfortunately.
My question is...how easy is it to order stamps from Royal Mail's website for delivery to the U.S.? I struggle to get any new issues, and that might be the way I get them. I just haven't tried yet. Am I able to order stamps from here in the states?

What I collect: Cinderellas and some Ephemera from Great Britain, France and Israel plus a few beautiful bits from elsewhere !! Topical interests include Flags & Judaica, the latter with an emphasis on the Jewish National Fund.

For the first ten years of my life abroad I had a standing order with Royal Mail. Obviously postage costs a bit more but they were very good, never missed an issue and when one or two got lost en route, they replaced very quickly.
I had a UK bank account but with Credit cards it will be OK. It shouldn't be a problem at all.

Do they still do standing orders, do you know? I used to have a standing order with a dealer for Canada stamps, but that only lasted from 2005 to 2008 until he retired. Might be something for me to investigate.

I have been ordering from Royal Mail for several years for delivery to Canada. Have not had any issues. Shipping is more than what than what we pay in North America, but not any worse than othe EU rates.
