These "stamps" came to me last year I think from an online auction sale, but I can't remember ANYTHING about them. Usually I take screenshots to ensure what I "win" is what I get, and I keep the original listing--in most cases. But for these I have NO documentation, but at least they were not expensive. Seems they may be Albanian provisionals as I have seen similar items before. I think I even have owned similar items "on cover" but probably sold or traded them years ago. Any comments or details about usage are appreciated!!!! On the reverse of the last (far-right) stamp there appears some sort of "owner's marK" or perhaps a dealer mark. Anyone recognize it??? --Jim Wentzell stampguyaps177-681

One of the key reference books on these, especially to weed out forgeries, is "FRANCOBOLLI D’ALBANIA 1913-1944". The book is currently only available in Italian or Albanian. www.amatoperizie.com/news_8.htmlScroll down about 1/4 way and you will see the cover of the Albanian language version. Italian version is also red cover.

Thank you both for the info and references, I may have to brush up on my Italian. Lucky we have the internet for translations!
