Issued Sept.10th,1963. (from a set of 5)
What a lovely sight. Nice article on European stag beetles: 'How stag beetles are enriching an ecosystem on a London rooftop', Financial Times, 26 August 2022. I refuse to believe the London bit. I found them in the 1960s on my side the Atlantic, in the Arkansas Ozarks. They were insanely dangerous looking, and equally harmless in you hand, although no one sensible--even an impetuous ten year old boy--would stick a finger where it could be vulnerable. Doesn't everybody love them? Or as it seems here, was it mostly a communist country aesthetic?

Honey-Bee (South-Korea)
This are rather tricky issues: 1.) 10 Hwan,issued April 1st,1960,also issued imperforated in a souvenir sheet,issued Oct.7th,1960
2.) 1 Won,issued May 2nd,1963 on unwatermarked white paper 3.) 1 Won,no exact date of issue is known,on white paper with watermark "postal emblem" 4.) 1 Won,no exact date of issue is known,on granite paper,no watermark (this one is rather pricey)
