I saw nothing specific to Paul von Hindenburg (1847 - 1935). I was tidying up (once again.... it doesn't take me long to have my desk looking like total chaos) and I came across this. Michel # 445 15 Pf with the overprint 30, Juni 1930 to mark the allied withdrawal from the Rhineland (at least based on Google Translate that seems to be what the date signifies) There is also a 8 Pf overprint with Friedrich Ebert, both stamps part of a definitive series from 1928 - 1932

But actually, I did post the complete von Hindenburg & Ebert set earlier in this thread, including the 30-Jun-1930 overprints, here: thestampforum.boards.net/post/119652/threadNo problem, though, as I am always glad to see more examples of these classic stamps! Germany, Sc366-384, Friedrich Ebert & Paul von Hindenburg definitive set Germany, Sc385-386, 8-Pfennig & 15-Pfennig denominations overprinted "30. JUNI 1930"

stainlessb you are right that specifies this date. In an appeal to German people, Hindenburg refers to this date as "Liberation Day".
