One of TSF's newer members, lickemandstickem has expressed an interest in collecting marine life, with lobster being on of the sub-categories, I am not sure if this is what he had in mind,

In today's post, I received this lovely block of four featuring the traditional Portuguese sweets of ' cavacas' from Resende, Portugal,
The stamps are from the third series "Traditional Sweets from Portugal" which consisted of five stamps put into circulation on the 1st of October, 2019:
0,10 € - Cavacas of Resende
0,53 € - Queijadas from Sintra, 0,65 € - Fatias of Freixo,
0,86 € - Cavacas of Caldas da Rainha
0,91 € - Morgados of the Algarve
All the stamps feature the graphic design work by Atelier Design, based on photographs by Paulo Bastos and printed by 'Imprensa Nacional - Casa da Moeda'.

Armenian dish Pasuts Tolma Preparation instructions Soak beans, chickpeas, lentils for 2-3 hours, then boil. Fry onions and herbs. Add chickpeas, lentils and beans to the onion. Salt, pepper and add spices. Then twist the resulting mass into sauerkraut leaves. Cook for two hours. Serve cold. My friend did not stick stamp very well  |

Indonesia released this strip of four back in august 2023 depicting 4 of its famous Nasi rice dishes - Nasi Padang, Nasi Goreng, Nasi Dumping and Nasi Timbel.  Indonesian/Malaysian/Singaporean food is one of my top ethnic favorites. Unfortunately we haven't had a good Indonesian place here since the early 2010s, which is surprising as Columbus has pretty much everything else from that part of the world - Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, Cambodian. Hoping just a matter of time before we get another one. |
