Sants-Hostafrancs, a Barcelona district, January-February 1963, astrohilatey exhibition, special postmark cover. The subject, was very popular by then, but he illustration: a nude girl riding a rocket is stricking for the time and the situation (franco's puritan dictatorship). Even now, for some countries (USA?) it could be considered offensive. Not, in nowadays Western Europe. Curious, anyway!

I also bought some recent Chinese stamps that were thematically aligned with my collecting interests, so from two series in 2019 and 2017 celebrating Chinese achievements, the Chinese mission to the Moon and their contributions to space-borne astronomy: 
It did not come out on the scan, but the Chinese Moon mission stamp has a translucent control number printed on the front that is clearly visible when held at an angle to the light. I suppose this is an anti-counterfeiting measure. Or maybe this is just printed on a fraction of the stamps like the control numbers on the backs of some country's coil stamps? |

Was shown before in this thread,but cut to size. The stamp was also issued in sheets of ten.

Luna 2 (Lunik 2) was the first men-made object,what (crash-) landed on the moon. Stamp issued Sept.21st,1959.
