I purchased a set of Robin Harris's Adminware's Intermediate Machin pages. I ended up with these since I made a donation but decided I might as well get something for it too.
The level in the Intermediate is about the level I would want to go. In order to get a list of all spaces so now I want to create a listing. I was thinking assigning a number for each space so I can cross reference it to a spreadsheet.
It could be PDF page, row, number in row. Anyone done something similar?
I am curious what others have done for album space identification? The question can apply to most any type album especially when all are arranged on a grid.

Al, that is exactly what I've done for other album pages when I need to identify the stamps but do not want to write on the page.
Page # (sometimes I have to supply this) - row # - position (counting left to right).
So: 5-4-7 under my system would be page 5, row 4, position 7.

This weekend I spent a few hours assigning numbers to all the pre-decimal Machin spaces and entering them in Excel spreadsheet. This meant one SG number may have 4 or 5 varieties.
I used the code x-y-z where x is page, y row, and z position on row. This was educational as I started to realize I may not care for all the booklet varieties unless it has some straight edge or other unique property from sheet version.
