Does that equate to over a $1 for each space?

Yeah, every once in awhile they'll type in an extra two zeroes, making $93.95 become "$9395.00". When I worked as a cashier in retail 35+ years ago, I admit I did that few times. But you will basically catch it when the subtotal comes up, if not beforehand.
Some of us are just creatures of habit. It's surprisingly hard to quit entering "00" if you happen to have been appending a lot of "0" or "00" key entries beforehand.

Although the price on the 5 years worth of hingeless pages for the American and British zones may have been the result of a misplaced decimal, that of this iHobb listing for a Lighthouse U.S. album package isn't. Five binder sets (binders and matching slipcases) with pages for regular, commemorative and air mail issues from 1847 through 2018 for only $1,368.68. My only hingeless album is a Davo Canada that I bought used. I don't recall the exact price I paid but I believe it was under $100.

Agreed. The cost of a complete set of pages/binders/cases for a major stamp issuing country can get pretty exorbitant. The binders & cases aren't cheap & can run up to 50% of the cost if you get the 13-ring binders for Lighthouse. What's irritating is that different manufacturers use different number of rings (e.g., Lindner has 18-ring, SAFE has 14-ring...).
When buying new hingeless albums, it is wise to be patient and wait for sales. They don't come often, but you can easily save 1/3 off the total cost.
I am also a big fan of buying used hingeless albums. 90+% of my hingeless albums were purchased used. I can easily purchase 2 sets of used albums (to cover any damaged/missing pages/binders...) and still have lots of money left over for stamps. To me, I'd prefer spending much more money on stamps and less on supplies.

A quick 600 dpi scan of a Lindner's CANADA 1971 page 27 cm X 29.5 cm (huge pages) 18 rings (cropped) as khj already mentioned with a pic (blck and white) as background with no details (at the time my late dad bought 4 Albums)

To me, I'd prefer spending much more money on stamps and less on supplies. As a collector more of Covers with social history, I have no use for pre printed pages and have to make my own. We have a local Paper supplier who buys direct from the paper mills and I have had 250 Sheets cut to A3 size and 1000 of the same, cut to preferred album page size , Approx 11x9 inch ( 28x23cm ) which is standard for exhibition Each page when written up is contained in clear protective sleeve and stored in boxfiles. That said I did acquire a beautiful DAVO GB hingless 1840-1972 with a slip in case all for £40 at Auction last month. I sold on the better stamps for £60 and accepted £15 for the album in fine condition. My fellow collector was delighted with the album so cheaply and I was happy with 80% profit. If offering a collection for sale to dealer you find they generally dismiss the album as of no consequence so bargains can be found in the used market . Some one 15-20 years ago paid full retail and lovingly cared for his collection in it. With or without contents they come on the market later at nominal cost. of course supplementary pages may be hard to find!!

Of course, I found out long ago that I'll never make any money on stamps. It is just a joy to collect.
You need BIG bucks to get the rare stamps if you want to make any money!

I’ve never once considered making money with my stamp collection. I collect because I enjoy it...plain and simple. It’s the same with fishing, I fish because I enjoy it. I could possibly make some money by entering a local tournament but, with the added pressure of competition, would I really enjoy it?
