The next "space, the deep frontier".......I have a few, and dups of some, but I am no where near complete, so what cha got?
I also have a lot of duplicate Type II, but I have not yet really examined to know what's what
If you are looking for a specific stamp/type, let me know
here's my sum total of Type ! Sage, so I am need of a number of denominations, and while there are a couple of shades....(I think the 1F are the same and two of the 5c (ones in poor condition*), 20c and 75c are the same)....(these may also be the most common)
* and the late date cancellation makes me suspect these may actually be Type III
a small lot I received today for $2.99 including postage! Maybe I'll get lucky and they won't all be Type II...
Very nice, Stan! $2.99 post-paid for that lot is a very good deal. Congratulations on the deal, and for finding some Type I stamps in the mix.
Perhaps ironically, almost all of my France duplicates are in California at the moment, so no way for me to check just now. When I get back there on a trip in October, I will check what I have and what I need, to see if we can help each other out a bit. Your observations about Type I vs. Type II are generally correct. There are many low CV Type II stamps compared to Type I overall. I still need several of the early ones, I know, but I did pick up a few of those (at a price) when I was in Paris in the spring of 2018. I have a scan of those on my other laptop, so will try to add an image for you later.
Of course, at the rate you're going, you will probably have them all by October!!

Looking for the lime green (lighter green) shade of the 1 c, 2c and 4c Type 1 my 4 c is rather weak and may just be a faded darker green
Maury refers for the 1c,2c,4c,5c (Type I) N under B.....as "vert" (green) but there exits also a variety for "vert foncé" or dark green, Stan Am I on the same track as you ? Year 1876-78 P119 of Maury 217) René p.s. and I do not own a copy
