Yes indeed! renden, you know that better than most after all the work you've had with your France pages. Lots of work - but it feels good after

Nice pages (collection) Jon ( blaamand) I have to finish my Belgium collection after a break (needed to work on something else). And lately I have found a lot of more Belgium stamps in my shalfs and cabinets. But you have a lot more stamps then I have, both main numbers and shades.

Tobben, what counts is the level of joy while doing it, not the number of stamps. So it seems to me I we're quite equal on this great forum of stamp-lovers 😊
You're lucky that discovered even more Belgian stamps, you'll get to enjoy the fun once more!

blaamand, stainlessb -- wow, two great sets of pages there! Great ideas to 'borrow' for my pages from each of you. One thing I noticed on Jon's pages were the subtle dollar signs under the pricier stamps. Great way to let your heirs know what to take care of later, without being garish.

I do not know a lot about the stamps of Belgium but am sure you both have some gems or favourites amongst the pages here.
For myself, the postmarks are beautiful on many of these stamps and I was especially taken by the "rhombus" looking cancels on the early Number & King Leopold II issues...
Happy collecting!

I agree with stanley64. Great stuff! After I complete my Romania thread, I am thinking about what I will work on next. It is tempting to pick up Belgium again.

A few pages from my Belgium album. Pages are very basic, but that's how I like them. King Albert issues, and all their types, except for the few I'm missing. Since I have a ton of Belgium stamps, decided to have pages for both stamps with tabs and without. I just thought the block was cool to add to the page with the single stamp. A separate page for the roller cancels you find so often.

I was going to play golf today, but my golf partner took a bad fall (nothing broken) so instead of France I went to Belgium today! I originally did a horrible job iD'ing the perfs on these- they were all mixed up. I used stamp analyzer today (very handy)Color shades is of course very subjective- what exactly does COB mean? what do i think that means, and what do my eyes think they see....

shades is as far as I will go on the earliest issues, as we get closer to turn of century I have a much larger "pool" to swim through- maybe print variants and shades
Golf tomorrow! Golden it won't be LOL
