These pages are a gift from Zipper The Incredible! (magnificent, wonderful, marvelous, spectacular, remarkable, phenomenal, miraculous, sublime, breathtaking, dazzling, amazing, stunning, astounding, astonishing, awe-inspiring, extraordinary, unbelievable, formidable, impressive, supreme, great, awesome, superhuman, fantastic, terrific, tremendous, stupendous, amazeballs, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, and out of this world!) I think you get the picture. There are 13 pages total, but I've only scanned the first five for your viewing pleasure. (scanned at only 600 dpi) These pages are so fine, that I don't have the heart to use them as album pages. They are a beautiful reference tool for early Hong Kong stamps, and I will use them as such. Thank you Love!

Doe, if I may be so bold as to suggest something.... in another thread, Jim ( jkjblue ) has mentioned that he knows a collector who uses album pages in protective sleeves as interleaving sheets between black stock pages on which he "mirrors" the album pages to display his stamps. You can read more here: thestampforum.boards.net/post/80369/threadThere is also a link to a full article on Jim's website. You could do that with these pages, thereby preserving them in pristine condition, but having them side by side with the stamps you acquire. Just a thought. I like the idea so much that I am going to try it myself.

Lovely!
But does it not make you sad that in many cases and in that condition a complete collection is unachievableš¤¢š¤¢?
sorry , I don,t mean to be a cynical party pooper š¤

When you have an album like that, who needs to buy the stamps? Save a lot of money that way!

Regardless, it would be a good idea to keep these pages in protective sheets.

I'm very lucky to have such fine pages. There is a whole world of things I've never acquired, and even more that I've never seen. Not wanting a lot, leaves me a happier person.

Those are luscious! Wow š®!
As to those empty spaces, well one of the reasons why I like using Hagnar and Vario is that I only see and enjoy what goodies I actually have. That encouraged me to examine them more closely and led to my Irish flyspecking.

I'm actually a stockbook person. No fuss getting stamps in and out, or rearranging the stamps. They have protective interleaving, and can be quite beautiful in their in own right. Zipper is getting me a lovely one for my birthday this year for my Hong Kong fly specking collection.
