I can’t find these in Scott’s USA specialized. I know diddly about USA back of book and such. What is the correct term for these types of sheets and is there a reference for them? Thanks for the help. Edit - thanks to tomiseksj for the correct name for these “Souvenir Cards”

Yep, that's a souvenir card. In the numbering system of the Souvenir Card Collectors Society that is B-176. There are literally thousands of cards and we've been busy adding scans to the Image Gallery on the new SCCS website. There are still a number of categories to be tackled, but feel free to poke around! www.souvenircards.org/gallery/gallery.html

Hi philatelia : I don't collect Souvenir Cards, but I gotta have one of those 1993 Omaha show cards for my Omaha collection and for sentimental reasons. The stamps on it are great reproductions, but it is the background scene of the farmer on the tractor with the single-row corn picker that caught my attention. I remember my father picking corn with a similar tractor and corn picker when we lived on the farm around 1946/47. Thanks for posting that card. Don StampHinger

Souvenir Card # SC66 From the 1980 Norwex philatelic expo in Oslo. I use these Souvenir cards as a frontispiece or in the cover pockets of my binders. I inherited a handful from my father who enjoyed the engravings.

The Souvenir Card Collectors Society has just added two more philatelic galleries to our website: APS and ASDA souvenir cards. The ASDA category is one of the largest, with more than 320 cards varieties. We have also included two small galleries for APS chapter cards from INPEX and Boston. Here's a link to the Main Gallery; the new cards are towards the bottom: www.souvenircards.org/html/menu_gallery.html

For those interested, we now have more than 30 separate galleries that illustrate the various categories in the Numbering System of the Souvenir Card Collectors Society. These are all viewable on the SCCS website as a service to the collector community: SCCS Image Galleries Our most recent addition was the cards of the American Topical Association.
