Are these stamps to be considered as 'forerunner's'? Indian stamps postmarked in Lahore in 1930-31. But sure nice. If they are 'forerunners' shal I put them in Pakistan album or in India album?

What a choice! They are obviously genuine commercial used from Lahore. NICE!
personally I would keep in INDIA , as Pakistan did not exist until 1947 when it became a new issuing country, and the underlying stamps are India.
However if I was a collector specialising in Pakistan I might have them differently.
Having said that, I recall you have an India stamp cancelled ADEN.............and I would definitely include that in my Aden collection rather than in my India .
I have several GERMANY stamps cancelled APIA in my Samoan collection, but my Queen Victoria penny reds with DUBLIN cancels are in my GB section and not amongst my stamps of EIRE ( Republic of Ireland).........GEEE I am really inconsistent and no help to you.
the answer is obviously “There are no rules in collecting , you do what you like!” Have fun and you are lucky to have such nice cancels where ever you keep them

Nice Tobben, These are exactly the Pakistan forerunners I pointed out in your recent acquisition. Rene is right, I am very jealous. No doubt they should be treated as part of Pakistan postal history and not India. This general stamp-issue of India is common, finding them this nicely postally used in Pakistan much more difficult. I hope you establish a collection for Pakistan forerunners, these will fit perfectly. If you don't, I will gladly trade them !!

Pakistan was part of India until August 15, 1947 when India gained their independence. Colonial India was split into three portions to accommodate the religious divisions of the country - what we now consider to be India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. In 1947 Pakistan and Bangladesh were both considered as Pakistan and called East and West Pakistan. There are stamps showing these two areas Scott 79-81 shows the map of West Pakistan - Pakistan, and Scott 84-86 shows the map of East Pakistan - Bangladesh.
So any Indian stamps used in Lahore or any of the numerous other cities that are part of Pakistan could be considered forerunners of Pakistan.
Initial Pakistan stamps were Indian stamps overprinted PAKISTAN. Shown below is page one of my Pakistan collection. It shows the lower values of this set. In addition to the stamps overprinted at Nasik with the horizontal overprints, there were a number of provisional overprints like the few diagonal examples shown below. These provisional overprints were probably stock at the various Post Offices that were locally overprinted for use. If anyone has additional information about these provisional issues, I would be curious to hear about them.

Nice. I can't share any knowledge about the provisional Pakistan overprints, but I found one similar myself recently. I actually thought it was bogus until reading your post kgvistamps, but know I realize it can be a provisional overprint. Thanks for enlightening us!

A "bump" on this interesting thread, from great stampers. It seems to me nobody is collecting (actively) this Country - on a personal basis I do not collect but just reviewed a nice Vario Binder, full of forerunners etc (stamps) of Pakistan. Wonder if there would be interest amongst our members for an Auction/Giveaway(no)...........??
My binder starts with a used and mint # 1

As a collector of all five entities,British India,India Dominion & Republic,Pakistan Dominion & Republic,Bangladesh and Burma I would not consider to go into "forerunners".All stamps of British India could be considered as forerunners of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Burma (here till 1935).All stamps of Pakistan, till about 1971,as forerunners of Bangladesh. Alltogether this will amount to nearly 1000 possible forerunners. If you ad to this the local overprints from Pakistan and even more so from Bangladesh, you are entering a "wide field".

Yesterday I was ready to offer my Pakistan Vario Binder on our Forum (not my personal album) - I deleted the offer. I did not have scans (some) to show and had not decided if I wanted to do an Auction at 50/50 + shipping (glassines, not Vario pages $$$). I am now waiting so Terri philatelia , completes her Auction. I have a few Scans ready....do not intend to put up 16 pages which include stamps - Sc 1- 800 and O-02 to O-129....we shall see if I feel the interest is there for a cheap starting price. Still want TSF to benefit from the Auction René a few teaser scans: + BONUS officials Bahawalpur MNH stamps !!
