Recently, I received the following question from an individual residing in the UK.

I have recently begun to catalogue my stamps which I last did over 50 years ago and have come across a 1 centime 1932 stamp from St Pierre et Miquelon.

This stamp depicts two fishermen on either side of a map of the islands however on the stamp I have the map is missing.

Has any member come across this version previously?

I did not receive an image of the stamp but will ask if he can provide one.

If you are able to provide any information (catalog #, value, etc), please post it on this thread.

I've checked my Yvert & Tellier, Scott and Michel catalogs - none list a variant missing the map. I hope someone with a more specialized book can help. For interest, here's the entry from my 2017 Scott for the stamp with the map:

Collectible but probably not listed in any stamp catalog.
