My childhood animal or nagual is the penguin so it only makes sense that I would include them in my philatelic interests. The following sixteen pages are some of those items from my collection.
Warning – Some depicted scenes of animal violence may not be suitable for all ages.

That's a great exhibit, stanley64 ! Thanks for sharing that. It gives me some ideas of how to display some themes I have.

Thanks to all that have viewed my exhibition pages to date and especially to cjoprey, angore, renden and brightonpete who shared their comments; your support and encouragement is much appreciated!
Deciding to share part of my collection, albeit in a non-competitive environment, was not as easy a choice as I thought it would be. Stamp collecting and philately is primarily a hobby for me, something that gives me enjoyment for my spare time. Opening the kimono if you will, does put one at risk but I think it was worth it and I am now on eager to build on what I have created and make it better, if nothing more than for personal reasons and self-satisfaction. The journey thus far has been a wonderful and exciting experience. In addition to the creative aspect of production, it has allowed me to become more knowledgeable about subjects I am interested in – both philately & penguins and I am eager to continue down the path. Knowledge is a wonderful thing!!
There is a wealth of information available, both in texts and on the internet for exhibiting, page layout, and write-ups. One site I found extremely useful as part of the process was this one, www.filatelista-tematico.net/ and although thematically focused, has a plethora of material including articles for all aspects of creating ones own pages and exhibiting them for your sole pleasure or others.
I already have some thoughts for improvement and if you have constructive ideas or comments for making this an ever better exhibit, let me know as I would welcome the suggestions of other members here on TSF...
Happy collecting!
