Finishing my Sirya (Syrie) stamps inventory, under the French (some 133 stamps), I fell on these and perused Yvert & Tellier and Scott Classic 2019. My conclusion is that they are stamps probably under the Arabian Gov but included in Syria, in 1918-1920 It appears Turkish stamps were used and surcharged in new values etc. I just wish that members with more experience with these issues give their opinion - Thanks !! René I believe I would have Scott 17,26,91,94,95 in there ?

Sweet! Definetively looks like Arabian govt in Syria. I've only come across a handful of these myself, so it seems to me they are more uncommon than the catalogs let us believe. Hang on to them (You've probably id'ed them right already )

These are Syrian issues under Arabian Govt. Very tough area - not one I've even dared to attempt as yet. Forged overprints are very common & complex to identify. They used alot of Turkish stamps - you've got 2 normal Ottoman postage stamps (the 2 small ones); 2 Ottoman semi-postals (top 2 red ones); and 2 Ottoman revenues (red ones on left & right side). The blue/gray stamp is pure Syrian.
