Wow, wilford, those postal cards are amazing. Sorry I do not have more info on them. I did pick up some similar cards with whale postmarks from Romania around that same time but never saw those. |

That's a swell theme. Thank you for sharing. I tried searching Indian stamps with whales but couldn't find any. Found stamps with Dolphins but no whales.

The Ganges-Dolphin,like all other dolphins is a toothed-whale,like f.i. sperm-whales or orcas.
The Dugong or Sea Cow however,as well as the Manitis are as distant relatives of the whales,as we are.
