I found the following two stamps in my books. I'm pretty sure one is a revenue stamp from the 1930s and the other a cut out from an envelope - searching online indicates from the 1890s, but I'm not sure I believe that.

If anybody could give me the actual years and any catalog details I would very much appreciate it!

OK - found a thread that identifies the first one: thestampforum.boards.net/post/64132/thread

So it's a 1938 revenue stamp, 1m. emerald green, catalog #21 (I'm assuming from 'Catalogue of Egyptian Revenue Stamps' by Peter R. Feltus, based on the context of the linked post)

The second one appears to be a cut-out from a pre-printed envelope from 1893, as per the following links:

but it doesn't have the same overprint.
