Thanks for accepting me to this forum. I am from Israel and focus my collection on the period of the British Mandate in Palestine, starting from 1917 until 1948. I got interested in this subject some 25 years ago but only in the last two years started to spend a lot of time and money on my collection. I collect both stamps and postal history.
As there are not many collectors of this subject, it was and still difficult for me to learn about the stamps, the overprints and varieties and the postal history of Palestine. I managed to get few specialized books and catalogues and spend hours learning. I find this subject fascinating.
I hope to find here other collectors interested in Palestine.

Welcome to the forum. The focus of your collection sounds extremely interesting. My husband and I have been to your country a few times, staying in Jerusalem and Tiberias, but visiting other places as well. It's a beautiful country. We usually fly in to Tel Aviv and spend a night there before travelling further afield.
