Hi, Just wanted to write a little something about myself. My name is Phil, and I’m from England. I started collecting stamps as a child, with help from my gran who was also a keen collector. Fast forward 30 years, and 1 lockdown I started to get back into collecting. With the aid of the internet it has become easier to find and buy stamps now. I only collect British stamps, loose, but my real passion are First Day Covers. And with the passing of my gran this year through the awful COVID-19 I inherited my grans stamps. Now I’m collecting for the both of us. So hello everyone out there!!

Wow!! I can’t believe the response from people! I’m not on here to sell, let’s put that straight. I’m here to talk stamps and add to my collection. My dream is to complete the GB first day cover scene!!! That’s right, 1924 to present. I’ve combined my grans and my collection to create a mega collection! And in her honour, I want to be able to complete it all 😊

Thank you for all the wonderful response from you all. As I’ve said, I’m here to collect, and talk stamps!! My dream is from my gran who wanted every FDC. (GB) not possible!!! 😂 But I will try. It’s just nice collecting again, looking again. Seeing what stamps go for on eBay, and joining in the bidding. Stamps now are so accessible because of the internet and such places like eBay. I used to have to go every month to my local civic hall to buy what I could afford!!
