Clive Your very welcome. I have many different kinds of albums due to buying several collections in the last few years. I love the Safe hingeless albums for mint stamps because you can see both sides of the stamps. But for used stamps, I like the Lighthouse. I also like the KaBe albums, which are similar to the Lighthouse. KaBe also has "Dual" albums. This has two spaces for each stamp side by side, so you can have one album for mint and used stamps. I have these for my Berlin stamps. If you are making you own pages, Lighthouse or KaBe are both really nice, but you do have to have an 11 x 17 printer to make them. But I just like that the pages are pre-embossed where the page bends, so it doesn't affect the stamp area, it should never get bent, if you are careful. I have found that you can get an embosser, which I have on my paper cutter I use to cut my mounts, so I can emboss self made pages myself. Look around, and make sure of what you want before you start, but remember, every company uses a different amount of rings in their binders if you plan to buy name brand binders. I think I have every count you can get now, 3,4, 13, 16, 18, etc. LOL. I am stopped right now trying to figure out how to get my pages punched for a Lighthouse binder if I buy paper and cut it myself. That is why I am going to talk to the guy down the street that has the supply shop. If he will supply me paper already cut, embossed, and punched fit my Lighthouse binders, at a reasonable price, I will just let him do the extra work for me.
Hope this helps.
Mike.
