Within recent memory, I received a hoard of art-themed postage stamps from René ( renden) and have begun going through them; sorting, filing and creating some album pages. The album pages are single-artist, genre or museum specific and the following pages are no exception.
So make yourself a "cupper", pull up a chair and walk with me through a virtual visit to the National Gallery of London...
Happy collecting!

I appreciate your posting Michael ( Londonbus1 ) the Masterpieces in Miniature sheet of stickers poster stamps ;-) Seeing a full page of artwork as they are, makes me think that future pages of my own art or artist stamps could be done with reference to the "salon-style of hanging" art works.
A sheet like this though for me would be a "buy and store" moment and I would have missed the opportunity for re-living moments of walking the NGL galleries, checking on my Caravaggios or the opportunity to research the arts and their works as if in preparation for the next University Challenge picture round :-)
For now though, here's to knowing the difference between a Hals, a Titian or a Vermeer...
Happy collecting!

Thanks for posting. What a wonderful format to display. Gives me a few ideas for my next project when I have time to start.

Michael ( Londonbus1), I stand chasten and rebuked; my excuses to the folks at Harrison & Sons Ltd. Even after updating my post, I take solace in the knowledge that TSF threads are being read in their entirety and not merely being skimmed...
Happy collecting!
P.S. I must admit, the print quality on the London 1980 National Gallery sheet is quite good :-)
