Here's a good one from 2007 celebrating 40 years of the Machin definitives. The Machin head from the slogan is slightly off the Machin head on the stamp 😁 Queen's Head Stamp 40th Anniversary

And from the early days of the pandemic: Does anyone know if there is a list or some sort of guide/website being compiled of slogans that relate to the pandemic? They would really enhance a topical collection on that subject.

Adding some images up on to the website this morning and this General Slogan from 17 January 1966 is as applicable now as it was 57 years ago, if not more so due to the decline in the number of GP's and increased patient numbers. Allo, I won't take me coat off - I'm not stoppin'! One of Ken Platt's catch phrases. He was a British Northern comedian who achieved fame on radio in the 1950s and 60s and later television in the 70s and 80s. Jack Storey, catch phrase 'I told you, didn’t I?', was a comedian and musical hall performer best known for his Pantomime Dames. Barnsley Civic Centre Jack and the Beanstalk 1973/74

Hi Don, stamphinger , here is another similar slogan. Neither has the date part but since one shows a gold 1st class stamp, this particular campaign must date from c1997 onwards. There is more information on this one which states Don't Do It! Coins in cards delay the mail. The reference to cards would imply that coins were being put into birthday and other cards as presents and that loose coins could bunch up in an envelope causing jams and or damage to the sorting machines. I'm sure the recipients would much rather have banknotes anyway.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

daniel your posting of the British Empire Exhibition machine cancel is timely. I was going through some Newfoundland stamps this morning and checking cancels and was stumped on this one. Then on a whim I did a google search for British Empire postmarks when nothing came up on Newfoundland town names and this one popped up. It never ceases to amaze me what one can find on the internet.
