For those of you out there who collect (and love!) Swiss stamps as I do, there is an organization that is dedicated to promoting Swiss collecting, for the U.S., but we have members worldwide also. I wanted to mention this as I have volunteered the the role of APS Liaison for the AHPS. (I found it basically entails an annual report from the society to the American Philatelic Society telling them we're still around and if there have been any changes). If anyone is interested more in what the organization is about, their website is www.swiss-stamps.org Please message me if you are interested in learning more about the society. And now for one of my favorite Swiss stamps: This embroidered stamp from 2000 is one of the reasons why Switzerland is my favorite country to collect:

Thanks Bob bobstew617 . As it weirdly happens, I joined the AHPS just last week. Lots of history and expertise. See you there.
Here is a cancel I got recently, tickled my fancy: the famous UPU commemorative with the allegorical Mademoiselle UPU throwing mail from heaven, and looking desperate for a square meal. There's gotta be a story.
