I finally ran out of the Staples Heavyweight Sheet Protectors i bought a few years ago and shelpped over to Staples to buy a new pack of them.
These are the ones that I bought:
Andy I am not happy....
The sheet protectors are not the same as the old ones. The old ones were crystal clear. The new ones are slightly cloudy. And they're slightly taller.
The Staples Better Binderâ„¢, which I had been using, switched from ball and socket rings to a toothed rings. Another downgrade in a Staples branded product.
Staples has been slowly replacing all the Avery products in their store with their own brand, and making the Avery stuff special order.
Going forward, i think I am going to buy Avery brand stuff and have it shipped to my house.

There has been a decline in quality of office supply products including selection at stores. One may see rows and rows of inexpensive colorful binders that replaced other brands.

Yes, the Staples heavy duty (white area for 3 hole punch?)are a bit milky. I use the Avery 75091 Economy sheet protectors. Nice and clear and I've yet to have one tear.
I'm using the Staples HD for PDF's I've printed out

The Office Depot 3.3 mil heavy duty are nice and available in low glare and clear. They were identical to Wilson Jones.
I did find a decent source of protective pages that do not have any branding (clear in hole punch section) but have not used them yet. I plan to put my Mystic album in sleeves.
