Somewhere I remember reading of a variety in which the Pink Panther is touching Mancini, Did I make this up?

I think a freak would certainly be possible if a color shift put the Panther in the pit, so to speak.

To me, it looks like the stamp Steve posted has a colour shift of its own. The darker red of Mancini's sweater looks shifted up - the movie titles to the right have a gap at the bottom of his arm and they run into the sweater at the top of his arm, and the lettering cleared of ink ("HENRY MANCINI") has a bit of a clear spot which extends up into his sweater as well. If the sweater colour hadn't shifted and was in the correct place, probably the panther's finger would touch the sweater (panthers have fingers?).
