I just love seeing the unusual usage of the English Language and Raggedy Anne was one I only see in US parlance. I had the same fascination when I first read "Rowland Hill" I have only ever known Roland spelt thus. (and my fondness of the film "Destination Wedding", with Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder) purely for the script writing. I had assumed yours was just a typo.
