Here's another one I cannot identify. Please let me know if you know its country of origin also. If you have any history about this stamp, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You, Respectfully, sharkman

I believe it's a charity label for the National Association for the Disabled (Swedish). Don't know for which year. Info subject to correction by others.

A 1971 paper translates De Vanföras Riksförbund in English as National Association for Care of Cripples. I don't know the current English translation the organization uses.

This was sent to me with a recent purchase. I have no idea where it is from.My first guess would be a cinderella from Spain or Italy.Does anyone have any ideas ?

The coat of arms is Spain.
I don't have the proper catalog, but it should be akin to a duty stamp (revenue). Hopefully that will get you in the right direction?

I am at work with no reference to my references, but Coat of Arms looks like Spain. Codigo is Code, ( and looks like civil) so this is likely some type of Fiscal Revenue stamp-
Curious how close I am

You can find similar on eBay on documents such as passports. But I do not know what specific duty the 10A CLASE was used for.

This is what I was able to find on the web, certainly a tax for passports and more. Surely cursus will be able to tell us more.

I'm afraid, i can't be of much help, as I don't collect anything related to Spain, and know next to nothing about its stamps and revenues. In fact, I try to be as far as possible from anything related to Spain.

I asked a Spanish colleague of mine about it and he gave me the following information: One used these stamps to pay costs of taxes associated with bureaucratic processes, etc. I had a quick look and the one you attach was created in 1908 and survived in a similar form until 1959. This form of paying taxes with stamps was abandoned in 1964 in Spain so I never used it myself. The thing they changed along the years was the coat of arms of Spain in the stamp the rest was unchanged. The one you sent has the traditional Spanish coat of arms with the five kingdoms that make the country but without the royal crown and the collar of the order of the Toison d’or of the Habsburgs. Thus it must belong to Franco’s time (1939-1964) because during the republic it had Republica Española stamped on it (see www.rahf.es/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Filatelia_Fiscal.pdf for details).

Not being an expert, I've two remarks:
1.- 1934 & 1935, were not Franco's dictatorship times (1936-1939 / 19759) , but Second Spanish Republic ones (1931 / 1936-39) 2.- The city walls crown over Spain's arms is a republican symbol that replaced the royal crown of the 1920-31 issue and was replaced by Saint John's eagle on Franco's times.
So, both items were issued on the 1931/36 years

Well I’ve sorted the desk full of obscure foreign stamps and identified nearly all of them on Colnet. However there is one that I just can’t place at all. I was thinking Turkey but I really don’t know. It’s not in great condition but the postmark may help.

It is Türkiye 1879 10 para trade tax revenue stamp.
The easiest way to identify Türkiye ʿOsmānīye Empire stamps is the Tuğrâ monogram, here it is of Abdülhamid II (1842–1918), Sultan of ʿOsmānīye Empire (1876–1909), printed at the top middle part of the stamp.

Thank you very much for identifying that for me. I didn’t realise it was that old. These revenue stamps seem tricky to place and thanks for the info. Graham

radiocruncher , This Forbin catalog from 1915 may be of some help in identifying the early revenues. This one would have been a challenge as the images used aren't the most clear.

That was an interesting trawl. I couldn’t find the exact stamp but it’s definitely in there somewhere. It’s great that this information exists. Thanks for the link.
