Here is a good example of a Newfoundland variety. This Scott 262 "Harp Seal Pup" stamp. I got a few NFLD stamps at an auction a few years ago. I noticed some thing different with the 262. There was a mark beneath it's tail....I did some research and found approx. 4 with the same variety.
I had sent it to Unitrade and N.S.S.C.catalouges. I nick named it "ROCK ON ICE" It is on page 728 of the 2020 Unitrade Catalouge. Not sure if it is in the latest N.S.S.C. catalouge yet.

Now here is a oddity that i found on my pair of "Harp Seal Pup" Scott 262 stamps. Robert
First post is a normal pair of security punch stamps....
Second post is my pair of Scott 262 stamps with one stamp NOT punched
